Pakistan Agricultural Coalition (PAC) is proud to announce the formal launch of the Pakistan Agri-Connections Forum, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mr. Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, Federal Secretary, Ministry of National Food Security & Research (MNFSR), and Kazim Saeed, CEO of PAC.
This groundbreaking initiative aims to drive transformative progress in Pakistan’s agriculture sector by fostering structured dialogue and collaboration among three key stakeholders:
- Government – represented by Secretary MNFSR as Forum Co-Chair
- Business Community – represented by Dr. Zeelaf Munir, CEO of English Biscuit Manufacturers (EBM), Chairperson of the Pakistan Business Council, and a patron of PAC, serving as Co-Chair
- Farming Community – represented by Mr. Mahmood Nawaz Shah, a progressive farmer and President of the Sindh Abadgar Board, also serving as Co-Chair
PAC will serve as the Secretariat of the Forum, facilitating coordination, research, and implementation support.
The Forum has identified three priority areas for immediate action:
- Seed Sector Reform
- Development of a National Agri-Community Market
- Facilitation of Private Investment in Agriculture
These focus areas aim to address foundational challenges in the sector while creating pathways for long-term, sustainable growth.
